I feel that this article tell us many thing. Even if this story is about IT environment in US, we are experiencing same situation here in Korea. Many IT people in Korea are talking about IT is no longer promising job here in Korea. I heard that many young university students do not want to major computer science. As CIO perspective, we need to be prepared for the IT worker shortage in Korea IT market. One of the solutions is to utilize offshore development center. As for offshore development center, we need to consider many aspects such as communication between analyst and programmers, standardization of program specification and more.
