Korea's Internet Usage Rate Surpasses 80%

The number of Internet users in Korea is forecast to inch up nearly FOUR percent in the first half of this year to surpass EIGHTY percent of the entire population of FORTY NINE MILLION, maintaining Korea's status as one of the world's most wired nations.Some THIRTY THREE MILLION people here go online an average of SIXTEEN hours a week, data from research companies KoreanClick and TNS Korea show.People in their FORTIES were found to have the highest percentage of users with EIGHTY percent of that age bracket using the Internet.The number of Internet users in their SIXTIES has DOUBLED since 2003, defying the notion that the online world is populated only by the young.
