Hynix Develops New Cost-Effective NAND Flash Memory

In Korea, Samsung Electronics is the first corp. of R&D performance. Second is Hynix. Hynix has developed a new kind of NAND flash-memory.
Hynix says the new chip will be 30-percent smaller than similar chips in use, which will allow for lower production costs but far greater data storage. The chip was developed using Hynix's ''triple-level-cell'' technology and has 32 gigabytes of memory. That's enough to store up to 8-thousand MP3 music files, or 200 years' worth of newspapers.
I think that we can enjoy more and more small mobile world thanks to the corporations like Samsung or Hynix.
