Recently implementing ERP in a single instance(single ERP and DB) is getting attention.
I think that the advantages of implenting global single instance is as follows;
1. Easily deoply and spread the best practice of HQ or that of the advanced countries across the subsidiary companies.
2. Reduce cost by Additional reduction in processing and per transaction costs such as Facilities, Headcount.
3. Easy to maintenance.
4. Easy to manage the information etc.
The most hardest part of implementing global single instance is change management.
The change mgmt includes, changes to standardized process , global organization etc.
