Singapore (AHN) - Samsung Monday took the wraps of its "Omnia," the touch-screen phone that followed Apple's much-heralded introduction of the 3G iPhone.
Also known as the more cryptic-sounding i900, the Omnia, Latin for "everything," the Omniais described by Samsung as a phone allowing users to be always in contact, at work or at home.
The handset includes a touch-screen interface, a 3.2-inch screen, five megapixel camera and GPS features all powered by Microsot Windows Mobile 6.1.
The 16GB Omnia costs $722.37 while an 8GB version will be announced at a future date.
Growth of Smart Phone market is expected.
