Sukgu's Comment - As a person who spends more than half of his time working with a computer, it's sometimes annoying that there is no right alternatives in the market when I don't want not to use Windows and Office. As the article says, my company and I have been reluctant to change to Windows Vista and Office 2007 because I have heard and experienced many bad things about these OS and software. Monopoly is always best situation for businesses, but worst situation for customers.

For Microsoft, a key challenge in its Windows business is to encourage companies to keep installing Vista while it trickles out information about Windows 7. At a recent conference, Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer demonstrated Windows 7's new user interface, which allows users to manipulate objects on a PC screen using their fingertips.
