Motion sensing: Wii must replace the mouse

http://knowledge.computing.co.uk/2008/04/motion-sensing.html

Sukgu's comments - Around 1 year ago, I experienced the game "Wii" when I was invited my CFO's home. This game was not introduced in Korea, but my CFO bought this from other countries. After that experience, I have looked forward to seeing this game in Korea. Finally, maybe 1 month ago, I found that this is released in Korea.
However, I've never thought that the basic technology for this game, "Motion Sensing", will be used to replace something that I used all the times. For example, mouse and mobile phone operation can be substituted by this technology. Imagine that you don't have to use your hand for a pile of office work. Just simply use your motion to handle the computer work. This is quite interesting. Then, we don't have to worry about so-called "Office Symtoms" such as chronic pain in the wrist and shoulder. Some day I guess we will be able to work while we are walking in the street. Anyhow, I have to surf internet to find out cheapest "Wii" to play with my son.

i've also experienced wii before, and yes i think it's good idea to replace current mouse. however, overly sensitive remote control can be daunting for frequent PC users. i'm pretty sure there will be more userfriendly devices such as virtual reality to replace mouse in the near future.
