Myspace

Reference: Digital Biz Outlook, Chosun Ilbo 25 April 2008

Interview with Chris Dewolfe, CEO of Myspace

I don't do either the Cyworld or Myspace.
I can categorise two groups of friends who use the Cyworld and Myspace. The first are Koreans and the latter are non-Korean. Personally I prefer to use Cyworld if i should choose one. It is so true that Myspace is more worldwide.

However, Myspace is No.1 SNS(Social Networking Site) in the world and recenly opened a service in Korean. Rupert Murdock's News Corp took it over in 2005. CEO Dewolfe who established Myspace with Tom Anderson said Myspace enables People's whole life transfer to Internet.

Concerning the future of Internet business, he thinks there are three trends in iternet.
First, Personalisation. Second, portability and last, collaboration.
Again, collaboration!

These days I concerned about foreign SNS service and I joined some foreign site like Facebook, linkedIn and Second Life. This is so interesting thing that I can connect world wide people. My room is not in Korea, now but World. ^^
